The books of Ezra and Nehemiah tell a homecoming story. The Israelites had alienated themselves from the Lord, and in these two books we read the account of their return to Israel. God's people were physically rebuilding the ruins of Jerusalem, they were mending frayed relationships with friends and family, and they were experiencing healing in their wounded relationship with the Lord.
We have all lived through seasons when we feel estranged from God or the ones we love - like we're exiles in our own lives. In this message series we will reflect on the various ways we need to come home, and discover that God is always waiting for us with open arms, ready to repair what's been broken.
